About CFNA (CFNA, http://www.cccfna.org.cn/)

The China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce & Animal By-Products was established in September 1988 under the direct jurisdiction of the Ministry of Commerce in China. The CFNA’s goals are to regulate the production and quality of cashmere, and to establish a guideline for grading systems to classify cashmere quality standards. It has industry development and regulatory responsibilities, helps to implement policies, and serves as a bridge between the industry and the government.

The Chamber currently has 5,000 corporate members across the country, with 43 national-level sub-chambers covering all agricultural products, one of which is the Cashmere Sub-Chamber, comprising such major members as the top 15 organisations that form the core of China’s cashmere industry and whose exports account for half the national total.
